About Teens

There were a few times I let Shannon wear her pajamas pants in public but I’ve learned my lesson after seeing how it looked on other people.

We were hunting for a parking space at the grocery store and spotted a woman entering the building in her pajamas.

Me: “Shan, take a look at her. She looks like crap wearing her pajamas in public.”
Shan: “She does. She really does.”
Me:  “No more wearing pajamas in public.”
Shan: “Okay.”

It was that easy. It took both us realizing how crappy someone else looked to realize the image one of us was projecting.

I understand not wanting to get all dressed up to go to the store or to your friends house early in the morning or when you’re sick and don’t have the energy get dressed. I do. I really do. But pajamas? I have a problem with that.

You can clearly tell they are pajamas. I see the little kitty cats and puppies on them. I can tell your pants are made of thinner material. Could you not have taken the extra step to put a lousy pair of sweat pants on? Is that really too much to ask? It shouldn’t be and isn’t an issue in our house anymore.
