Fall is the perfect time to enjoy outdoor activities in Maryland, and with so many fall festivals, fairs and carnivals, there are a number of special events to choose from for low-cost family fun.
September brings the Maryland Seafood Festival, Maryland Renaissance Festival, Annapolis ArtsFest, the Baltimore Book Festival and county fairs to name a few.
First Sunday Arts Festivals in Annapolis and the Renaissance Festival continue in October and, of course, the Annapolis Sailboat Show draws big crowds.
