MothersDayGiftGuide3 ChesapeakeFamilyAboutFaceHappy Mother’s Day! With the annual holiday coming up this weekend, treat yourself with bath, body, hair, and cosmetics gifts. Whether it’s blush from Clinique, bath bombs from LUSH, or exfoliating scrub from H2O, grab something good for yourself.

How do you normally celebrate Mother’s Day? Are you a flowers-and-card person? More about chocolate? Dinner with your family? Any of those options is, of course, totally valid. But treating yourself with cosmetics items—I see nothing wrong with that!

This year, I’ve structured our Mother’s Day gift guide with, of course, you in mind. What would you like to use in the bath, or on your face? How could your day be as stress-free as possible? What kind of pampering do you deserve? Because you deserve it all.

For a roundup of our Mother’s Day gift guide picks, read on!

The best way to relax is taking a bath, no? So let’s start this gift guide with items that will work in your shower, like Mio Skincare QuickStart Exhilerating Shower Gel, Caldrea Essential Collection Body Wash in Apple Mint, or H2O Plus SPA Sea Salt Skin Smoother.

The Mio Skincare QuickStart is supposed to invigorate you; the Caldrea Body Wash doesn’t smell too herbal, but more like a delicious juicy mix of fruit and herbs; and the H2O Plus scrub is pleasantly gritty. But if you want something more straightforwardly fruity, then try Korres Showergel in Bergamot Pear, an unexpected fragrance—how often do you see anything smelling like pear?—that would be a really unique addition to your bathing arsenal.

Also unique? LUSH Bath Bombs are always a good bet: Secret Garden Bath Bomb smells like a mix of roses and oranges, whereas Inhale Exhale Bath Bomb is a mix of melon and sandalwood.

MothersDayGiftGuide5 ChesapeakeFamilyAboutFaceWhy not wash your hair really well with Ouidad Superfruit Renewal Clarifying Cream Shampoo, slather on the Kanebo Sensai Intensive Hair Mask, and just take a soak with the LUSH bath bombs? I could think of a worse way to spend a Sunday.

And then, when you get out of the tub, finish off your routine with the NUDE Miracle Mask. The mask is meant to brighten and exfoliate, and if you’re giving yourself the full-body treatment, you certainly can’t forget your face. Pampering accomplished!

What about if you’re more of a cosmetics person than a bath or body person? There are a number of fancy beauty items that you could try out for Mother’s Day. You could play around with the new Smashbox Full Exposure Palette, a mix of shimmery and matte neutral eyeshadows that can work for day or night. Or grab serious pigment with Clinique Cheek Pop, a densely colored blush that comes in shades like 02 Peach Pop or 03 Berry Pop. And if you want just a slick of shiny color on your lips, try Josie Maran Argan Love Your Lips Hydrating Lipstick in shades like Coral Delight and Happy Honey, or the new Lancôme Lip Lover in rosy pink 356 Belle De Rouge.

And when the day is over and you’re climbing into bed? Don’t forget Bliss Glamour Gloves; slip them on so they can moisturize and soften your hands while you sleep. If that’s not an easy, stress-free way to end your Mother’s Day, I don’t know what is.
