During the summer the beverage of choice is lemonade, so why not help your kids with a lemonade stand?
Help them set up a table with an umbrella, on a safe nearby sidewalk, and let them have fun with their little business. Whether its homemade or powder lemonade, people love to get a nice cold cup of lemonade from the neighborhood kids on a hot summer day. Here are some good tips for a successful lemonade stand.
1. Smile and Wave — Always look happy, especially when people drive by. It makes them want to stop and buy some lemonade.
2. Mind Your Manners — Say please and thank you.
3. Stay Safe — Don’t get too close to the road, and make sure there’s a trusted adult nearby at all times.
4. Wear Sunscreen — My best-selling days are usually the hottest and sunniest, so sunscreen is a must.
5. Have lots of fun!
