Thirteen Anne Arundel County Public Schools are slated for renovations in the proposed FY2015 capital budget. Is your child’s school on the list?
Interim Superintendent Mamie J. Perkins recommended a $192.1 million FY2015 capital budget to the Board of Education today that includes the 13 renovation projects and is $48 million less than the request approved by the Board a year ago.
More than 65 percent of the request, which will be discussed and voted on by the Board following a public hearing at its Sept. 25, meeting, is made up of 13 school-specific projects. In priority order, they are as follows.
