Here’s what we’re looking forward to.
Always Ice Cream Company | Various Locations
The great thing about Always Ice Cream is you can always count on having options when it comes to flavors — there are 250 that are always rotating, and yes, Always brings in seasonal flavors. Classic fall flavors that tend to make an appearance on the menu this time of year include pumpkin pie, pumpkin chocolate chip, pumpkin cheesecake, sweet potato pie and lemon ginger snap.
Black Market Bakers | Various Locations
Now with five locations — Churchton, Edgewater, Port Annapolis, Severna Park and West Street — Black Market Bakers has quickly established itself as a go-to place for fresh, homey baked goods. One of the perks is you can reliably find fall flavors there year-round, thanks to its irresistible maple pumpkin muffins and pecan cranberry raisin bread. But Black Market also has weekly specials, so we can expect to see some limited-time seasonal options.

Popcorn is a year-round food, but something about it just feels cozy and appropriate for fall — especially when this gourmet popcorn shop offers seasonal flavors like apple pie popcorn, caramel apple popcorn and a Halloween mix. Calvert Kettle Corn has an additional location in Southern Maryland, in Charlotte Hall.
Fields of Heather Bakery | Chester
This cozy, inviting little bakery does special orders as well as daily grab-and-go delights for anyone who wants to stop in and satisfy their sweet tooth. Whether you’re starting your morning with a muffin or placing an order for a cake, you’ll love some of the seasonal flavors that are available this time of year, like the pumpkin cookie sandwich, the apple pie cookies, the caramel apple cider cake and (of course) pumpkin pie.
Stan and Joe’s Saloon | Annapolis
Fall doesn’t always have to taste sweet — maybe the savory flavors of Thanksgiving are more your style. Be sure to check out the Turkey Tower Thursdays at Stan and Joe’s Saloon, when restaurant staff serve up a specialty dish of cornbread stuffing topped with turkey breast, hand-smashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and cranberry sauce.
The Red Bean | Annapolis
Need your pumpkin spice latte fix? Of course. But you don’t have to go to a chain you’d find anywhere else. The best local spot in Annapolis is the Red Bean Café, where staff make pumpkin spice lattes with real pumpkin sauce and maple whipped cream.
