School’s out and you’re probably planning a fun family vacation. The beach is a classic summer trip, whether you prefer riding the waves or lounging in the sun.

  1. Disposable camera: Nostalgia for Mom and Dad and a fun way to make memories (Get a waterproof camera for underwater fun!)
  2. Goggles: In clear water, you may be able to glimpse jellyfish or other sea creatures.
  3. Sandcastle-building tools: School your kids in the art of a well-built sand fortress.
  4. Boogie board: This is a good starter board for kids looking to catch some waves.
  5. Sun gear: Hats, sunscreen, sunglasses, rash guards and other protective gear
  6. Extra towel: Don’t forget an extra clean towel to dry off with after swimming.
  7. Change of clothes: Go straight from the beach to dinner or games with dry clothes.
  8. Pocket money: Let kids buy their own ice cream or boardwalk treat with their allowance.
  9. Jar for shells: Bond with little beachgoers by collecting unique shells together.
