According to SpaRitual, this collection of six new shades is inspired by “airy pastels and gentle feminine hues,” and yup, that’s pretty accurate. These seem somewhat repetitive at first glance—three pale nudes, really?—but subtle shimmer and soft color make Meditate fairly intriguing.
Introspective is a light, somewhat minty green jelly with a fine gold shimmer; Calm and Clear is a very light, slightly lavender baby pink jelly; Energy is a lightly milky sky blue crème; Transcend is a very light tan with very fine gold shimmer; Quietness is a nude crème; and Peace and Harmony is a pure white with very fine silver shimmer. The finishes on Transcend and Peace and Harmony are interesting, because they’re practically matte—which means you have to be careful when applying, since they have a greater tendency to be streaky. For the most part, I found success using three thin coats of each polish to even things out.
Nevertheless, I love the softness of this collection. I would almost use the word “fragile” to describe the shades, but they’re not weak in any way—just really effective and work-appropriate offerings that look crisp and clean.
