The great thing about drugstore beauty companies stepping their game up means that we get more and more quality products at a lower price point, and I’m excited to try some items that started popping up on shelves last year. I’m looking forward to the grit in both Yes to Grapefruit Correct and Repair Daily Facial Scrub and Aveeno Positively Ageless Resurfacing Scrub, and I hope they can create a more even tone and brighter look for my skin. And to help battle my acne, I’ll reach for Yes to Tomatoes Roller Ball Spot Stick and Soap & Glory Dr. Spot Invisible Spot-Fighting Gel, both of which are designed to eliminate blemishes rapid-time. I unfortunately have some acne scars left over from my teenage years, so I’m always looking to find products that will help me avoid those in the future.
If you’re willing to pay a bit more, I would recommend splurging for lotions and serums. To control shine and oiliness, I’ll reach for Pangea Organics Facial Cream with Moroccan Argan with Willow and Rosemary or Ahava Dead Sea Osmoter Concentrate Moisture and Radiance Boosting Serum, both of which are supposed to increase luminosity. And for anti-aging benefits, I’m thinking about Kiehl’s Skin Rescuer Stress-Minimizing Daily Hydrator or Bliss The Youth as We Know It Anti-Aging Moisture Lotion with SPF 30, which should lessen blotchiness and help decrease wrinkles. I have lots of problems with dryness during the winter and an oily T-zone, so hopefully some of these products can help me battle those issues.
