Few nail polish brands are as affordable and reliable as OPI, and its sister brand, Nicole by OPI, is rapidly catching up in terms of quality, too. With various new collections launching this spring, what should you pick up?

Happy almost spring! I’m looking forward to the first day of the season, to finally putting this snow and ice behind us. So I’ve already transitioned into bright nail polish colors, and the new collections from OPI and Nicole by OPI are making that very easy to do.
The brands are actually launching a few different things this spring: OPI has its Brazil collection and collaboration with musician Gwen Stefani, and Nicole by OPI has new shades for 2014 and its collaboration with musician Carrie Underwood. There’s a huge range of shades and finishes here, from crèmes to glitters to mattes, and at about $8 or $9 a bottle, you won’t find me complaining.
