About Face: Review of Bumble and bumble Let It Shine, Seaweed hair lines

BumbleandbumbleLetItShine ChesapeakeFamilyAboutFaceBumble and bumble is a salon brand with great buzz and a solid reputation. Within two of their most popular lines, Let It Shine and Seaweed, which shampoos and conditioners are your best bets?

I have curly, thick hair, but in the summer, who wants to deal with that? Earlier this year I got an undershave—when about half of underneath layers of hair are buzzed away, so my top layers cover them up but tons of additional weight is gone—and it’s particularly freeing. It’s cut down on my shampooing time, on the amount of product I use, and how greasy my hair feels one or two days after washing. The only issue is the upkeep of the undershave (I have to buzz it down with an electric razor every three weeks or so), but that’s a small price to pay to lose all that extra frizz.

And during the summer, I’ve also found that I prefer lighter shampoos and conditioners, products that don’t necessarily strip my hair but don’t add too much additional product to it, either. And so I was interested to try two hair lines—Let It Shine and Seaweed—from Bumble and bumble, the well-established salon brand known for their shampoos, conditioners, and styling products, who provided me with samples for review.

Did the product lines work for my difficult-to-manage hair? Should you add them to your summer arsenal? For my thoughts and review, read on!
