About Face: Review of Soap & Glory Gloss Sticks and Glossy Lip Balm

SoapandGlorySexy MotherPuckerGlossStick ChesapeakeFamilyAboutFaceBritish brand Soap & Glory invaded U.S. shelves with cheekily named face and body products a couple of years ago. How do their new lip products, Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Sticks and Mighty Mouth Extreme Hydrating Super Glossy Lip Balm, hold up?

Have you heard of Soap & Glory? A British brand that began offering its products at stores like Target and Sephora in 2011, Soap & Glory is known for its skincare and body products, which also include a growing line of lip balms, most of which promise a plumping effect.

Now, to be honest, I’m not that much of a plumping person. I’m fine with my lips the size they are; I don’t want them to look swollen or bee-stung or any other kind of state that sounds like it would hurt, you know?

But I understand that plumping products are getting more and more popular, so when Soap & Glory provided samples of their Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Sticks and Mighty Mouth Extreme Hydrating Super Glossy Lip Balm, I jumped at the opportunity to review them. (Perhaps because I think “Sexy Mother Pucker” is the best name for a cosmetics product, ever.)

Cheeky suggestiveness aside, however, how do these Soap & Glory lip products actually hold up? For my reviews and swatches, read on!
