L’Oreal launches a lip stain/lip gloss hybrid with Colour Caresse Wet Shine Stains. With a promise of up to six hours of wear, does the product—which touts the inclusion of “30 percent water”—really feel that different or revolutionary?

I, like every other makeup-buying woman ever, am always looking for a lip product that will last all day. The quest is especially imperative this semester, when I have so many days on campus that stretch up to, or even past, 12 hours—eight hours of work, three hours of class, a one-hour commute each way, and various other variables. Among concerns like catching the Metro and bus on time, eating a not-terrible-for-me lunch, and getting my classwork done, “putting on lip stuff” shouldn’t be high on my list of priorities.
So I decided to test a new product from L’Oreal: Colour Caresse Wet Shine Stains. Described by L’Oreal as a lip product with the staying power of a stain but subtle shine of a gloss, the product comes in 12 shades and is supposed to fel lightweight but be fairly long-lasting.
How do L’Oreal Colour Caresse Wet Shine Stains actually hold up? For my review, read on!
