Nail polish company Laqa & Co. expands into cosmetics with their Fat Lip Pencils. Are the chubby, Crayon-like lip products as good as the brand’s nail polish?

Do you ever match your lip color with your nail color? It’s a trend that seems to work every season: wine and burgundy shades in the fall and winter, versus corals and pinks for spring and summer, work equally well on lips and tips. And so maybe you’ve noticed that more and more nail polish brands seem to be expanding into lip color, too—Deborah Lippmann did it (and we wrote about it in About Face), and now Laqa & Co. is jumping into the ring, too.
Already an established nail polish company, Laqa & Co. also offers the Fat Lip Pencil. Available in a small range of colors that includes the basics—a nude, a pink, a red, etc.—the Fat Lip Pencil is described as an “all-in-one” product that offers the benefits of a lip balm, lip liner, and lip gloss. I was provided two shades to review, Ring of Fire and Bossy Boots, to see if I agreed with that claim.
Well, did I? For my thoughts on the Laqa & Co. Fat Lip Pencil, read on!
