Tarte’s Maracuja Divine Shine Lip Gloss promises to be a ‘health food for your lips.’ At more than $20 each, is it worth opening your wallet?

Lip gloss can be a tricky thing—a particularly teenage phenomenon, no? Women of a certain age just don’t include lip gloss as part of their daily regimen, and I get it. The glitter, the shimmer, the shine—they can look unprofessional and immature.
But what if a lip gloss promises to be a “health food for your lips”? Could you trade in concerns about gloss’s appropriateness if the product battles fine lines and wrinkles, actually working to make your lips better? That’s what Tarte’s Maracuja Divine Shine Lip Gloss promises to do, with a range of 10 shades that go from baby pink to deep berry.
So will Tarte sway you away from an anti-gloss agenda? For my review and swatches of the product (provided by Tarte for our consideration), read on!
