Need some makeup-removing wipes to toss in your vacation bag this summer? Read on to decide whether the choices from Aveeno, Burt’s Bees, and Neutrogena are right for you.

Are you planning a trip this summer? Going to the beach for a day, or to the lake for a week? Whatever you’re looking forward to, I have this feeling you’re not going to take your entire skincare regimen. Every serum, every moisturizer, every cleanser—I don’t think so.
Whenever I pack, I try to really cut down what I bring, not only to minimize space in my bags but to reduce clutter in the bathroom of wherever I’m staying, too. I want to relax on vacation, and I don’t want to feel weighed down by my stuff. Enter makeup-removing wipes, which I’ll pack instead of a cleansing oil or eye makeup remover; they’re more low-maintenance, more compact, and more appropriate for tossing into a bag or suitcase.
But makeup-removing wipes aren’t just for travel—many drugstore brands are offering them up as a part of your daily routine. Should you be grabbing them temporarily for the road, or permanently for your bathroom? Aveeno, Burt’s Bees, and Neutrogena provided me with samples of some of their makeup-removing wipes, and here we’ll consider Aveeno Ultra-Calming Makeup Removing Wipes, Burt’s Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes with White Tea Extract, and Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes—Night Calming.
