The Maryland Association for Environmental and Outdoor Education is holding its annual Maryland Green Schools Youth Summit June 1 at Sandy Point State Park. This year’s theme is “Go for the Green!”
All Maryland schools are invited to this free event, but they are only allowed to bring one bus of people becuase space is limited. The summit, which lasts from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., will include an award ceremony honoring 2012 Maryland Green Schools, an environmental literacy Bazaar, youth leadership development training and entertainment.
