Annapolis Area Christian School is teaming up with the Walk the Walk Foundation in their “Walk of Christmas” which provides Anne Arundel County children and families in need with Christmas gifts.
Today, Dec. 17, from 5 to 8 p.m., The Kilby Athletic Center’s Field House will become Santa’s Turf as AACS students and Walk the Walk officials create a festive atmosphere for the distribution of new toys and gently used coats.
“We were so thrilled last year at how the students really stepped up and lead this endeavor,” said Chelsea MacCubbin, director of communications for the Walk the Walk Foundation. “The mentor groups were awesome and provided gifts for over 100 children!”
