graduationProm and graduation are important events in the lives of graduating high school seniors so it’s imparative to Play it Safe.

Anne Arundel County Public Schools and the Anne Arundel County Department of Health encourage youth to participate in senior events that are safe and alcohol-free. And parents are encouraged to speak to their graduating seniors about the dangers of underage drinking, including the health and legal consequences. All graduating seniors will receive a brochure explaining the Play It Safe project, a nationally recognized drug and alcohol abuse prevention program developed for graduates who celebrate the end of high school in Ocean City, Maryland.
