Registration is now open for the Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre’s annual Musical Theatre Workshop for teens.

The workshop explores drama and vocal skills, monologues, cold readings, audition techniques and various styles of dance. Through theatre games, scene work, movement, improvisation and imagination, participants will gain a better understanding of the art of musical theater.
The session runs August 6-10, 2012 from 9am-4pm, with a final rehearsal on August 13 from 5-10pm. The workshop culminates in a Broadway-style musical revue with two final performances for friends and family on August 14 and 15 at 8:30pm. The final performances take place on the Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre stage in downtown Annapolis.
