Internationally known author Diana Sands will present a workshop Friday, April 26 on teen suicide prevention at the Loyola University of Maryland, Columbia Graduate Center in Columbia.
The Chesapeake Life Center will host Sands, the author of “Red Chocolate Elephants: For Children Bereaved by Suicide” who will present a workshop titled “Suicide Prevention through Postvention: Facilitating Meaning Making and Resilience in the Wake of Trauma.”
Counselors, clergy, social workers, teachers and crisis responders can attain continuing education credits for attending the workshop.
