The Ellicott City Station of the B&O Railroad Museum will be opening for the first time since the major flood in July on Nov. 25, just in time for the Holiday Festival of Trains.
Check out all of the model trains including an N-scale layout, children’s push button Thomas the Tank Engine O-scale layout, O-scale Crazy train layout and HO-scale train layout of the first 13miles of the B&O Railroad. There will not be a LEGO layout this year due to the late opening of the station.
Civil War Santa will also be on hand Nov. 25-27 to kick off the season and will hand out special treats to children.
The Holiday Festival of Trains will run Nov. 25-Jan. 29, Friday to Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It will also be open Dec. 26-29 for the holidays. The station will be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
