Take the kids to Baysox Stadium in Bowie for Kids Appreciation Day on Saturday, Aug. 27 that includes a touch-a-truck event, trick-or-treating, baseball and more.
Beginning at 4:30 p.m. kids and adults will get to see, touch, interact and learn about over 35 service, emergency and construction vehicles during the pre-game touch-a-truck event. The first 500 kids ages 3-12 through the stadium gates beginning at 5 p.m. will also get a Baysox touch-a-truck t-shirt.
Kids Appreciation Day will also feature a Halloween party. Kids and all fans can come dressed in their favorite Halloween costume for a fun night that will include pre-game trick-or-treating. After the game, all kids can run the bases and see the last fireworks show of the season.
The Baysox will be playing the Binghamton Mets and the game will start at 6:35 p.m.
