‘Tis the season for pie! We wanted to know where to find the best-baked pies in Maryland, so we asked community members in our Things Do Maryland group where they get their favorite pie and what flavor they indulge in. They delivered some of our favorite places along with some newcomers we haven’t had the pleasure of trying yet. Check out some of these Maryland pies to celebrate Pi Day:
Dangerously Delicious

You can find Dangerously Delicious pies located in Baltimore. Stop in to try their highly recommended Mobtown Brown a very rich pecan pie baked with a caramel and a Swiss chocolate topping, their Berger paying tribute to the famous Berger cookies, or their Lemon Chess which is a smooth citrus heaven.
Baugher’s

Baugher’s in Westminster offers an amazing French Apple Pie. When you stop for their pie make sure to try a meal in their family restaurant, shop their farm fresh market, try their cider, and check out the petting zoo at the end.
Catoctin Mountain Orchard

Debs Artisan Bakehouse

Debs Artisan Bakehouse seems to be a local favorite, noting her sour cherry pie is a big hit with Marylander’s. Not only do her pies taste delicious, but they are truly a piece of art.

The Ugly Pie based out of Salisbury was being celebrated as “the best pie this side of the Bridge!” There is nothing ugly about these pies. Highly suggested flavors include their Maple Bourbon Pecan and Creme Brulee pies.

The Blue Goose in Hancock, MD were noted several times. Their Apple Caramel Nut Pie seems to be a winner with several returning customers.
Ed’s Country Bakery

Ed’s Country Bakery in Frederick, MD peanut butter pie

Ed’s Country Bakery in Frederick, MD might take some planning to get your hands on a pie but we heard it’s well worth it. They are only open the 2nd Saturday of every month but they offer an online order form for making pick-up a breeze. Their Peanut Butter Pie is to die for.
Third Way Farm
