Maryland’s Six Flags America opens this weekend with NBC’s The Biggest Loser Michael Dorsey and teen participant Noah “Biingo” Gray welcoming visitors.
Both Dorsey and Gray have been on a weight loss journey and their healthy lifestyle now includes visits to theme parks.
“I’ve been a coaster enthusiast since I was a little kid,” said Michael Dorsey. “I absolutely love riding roller coasters, but for the last several years I haven’t been able to do that because of my weight. Last year I set a goal that I was going to lose the weight I needed to live a healthier life and to make sure I could ride any coaster I wanted. I’m so excited to be living my dream again and riding all the coasters at Six Flags America on opening weekend.”
As part of opening day festivities, Six Flags will be donating $1,000 to Carmody Hills Elementary School for the purchase of physical education equipment for the students who attend the Prince George’s county school.
