A Bowie teenager is making a name for herself in the fencing world.
Amanda Sirico, a member of the DC Fencers Club, won bronze recently at the Women’s Epee Junior World Cup in Dijon, France and is the second ranked Junior Women’s Epee fencer in the United States and 19th in the world. Epee the modern derivative of a dueling sword.
