What better way to celebrate the spring equinox than burn your socks and eat oysters?
The third annual Annapolis Oyster Roast & Sock Burning will be held March 23 from noon to 4 p.m. to benefit the Annapolis Maritime Museum.
The family-friendly feast will include the annual burning of the socks, which is a museum tradition to signify the beginning of spring for sailors. There will also be live music and an oyster shucking competition.
