The Calvert County Board of Education is pleased to announce its appointment of an interim superintendent for the 2013-2014 school year to replace Dr. Jack Smith who announced his resignation earlier this month.
The Board has selected Nancy V. Highsmith, now the former principal of Patuxent High School, to lead Calvert County Public Schools until a permanent superintendent is selected next year through a forthcoming national search.
