At Ballet Theatre of Maryland’s Summer Intensive, dance students will be immersed in dance with classes in a range of styles to further their technique and artistry including ballet, pointe (if applicable), variations, modern, contemporary/improvisation, jazz, acting, character, Pilates and more! At the end of each session, dancers will have the opportunity to perform in our end of summer performance.
Ballet Theatre of Maryland offers two summer intensive dance programs. A one week dance intensive for dancers aged 8-11 from July 31-August 4, 2023, 9am-4pm. Our five week summer dance intensive is for dancers aged 12+ from June 26- July 29, 2023, 9am-4pm. This program may also be attended in a three week session, if preferred.
