Get School Ready! is a Reading Enrichment Camp that uses the visual and performing arts to teach reading and writing. The half-day camp is specifically intended to accelerate and improve literacy skills for incoming 2nd and 3rd graders. Instruction is provided by a certified 2nd and 3rd grade public school teacher who has taught in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia Public Schools. She holds a graduate degree in education and has expertise in reading instruction.
