Junior Achievement BizTown Summer Venture offers youths the chance to receive their dream job, operate their business, create product mock-ups and marketing plans, hone their money management skills and run an entire city, utilizing one of 24 JA BizTown facilities. This miniature town comprises City Hall, a bank, radio station, television station, business and insurance office, a university, newspaper office, cafe, distribution center, investment office, science lab and retail shops. June 26th through 30th, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., campers will experience interactive JA BizTown activities associated with entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness in hands-on, engaging activities. They also will have the opportunity to participate in Fit N Fun fitness activities and challenges in conjunction with JA’s partnership with the Y of Central Maryland. Admission is $250, which includes a camp T-shirt, enrichment materials and items purchased at the JA BizTown shops.
