Summer Camps—Open or Not?

Scheduling anything is hard these days, especially with the summer months approaching quickly. So we’ve rounded up information on local summer camps to help you with your summer planning.

Guidelines have been established by the CDC and the American Camp Association that camps must use as they decide whether their program will take place in Summer 2020. You can find more information here: CDC Decision Tree and ACA Camp Guidelines. These guidelines outline measures such as whether camps can meet local government orders, provide accurate screening, encourage social distancing, keep camp groups small and apart from one another, and properly clean and disinfect camp areas.

We’ve talked to a lot of camps to find out what plans are in place this summer. We’ll be adding to this as more programs decide what their plans are. Below you’ll find out which camps are offering virtual programs, which are opening on time, and which camps have canceled.

If you don’t see your camp here, or are interested in finding other programs for your children, head over to our Day Camp Directory or Overnight Camp Directory!
