Cell phones for all in the family — FranklyStein

We gave our twins cell phones for an early birthday present last month and in so doing, tipped the scales of our wireless bill.

Thirteen is the magical age in our house when you are granted your own cell phone. It started when we added our oldest to the plan a year and a half ago, but at the time, adding an extra phone only cost $10 a month. This time around, each new phone costs us $30 a month — and these aren’t even smart phones.

So this begs the question, how much do the kids really need phones? I would argue that they do, my husband, not so much.
