Take your kids to see “The Secret Garden” at Center Stage in Baltimore and get a good deal at several matinees.
Based on the novel by Frances Hodges Burnett, the musical is about a 10-year-old girl who travels from India to England to live with her detached and distant uncle. She finds refuge in a mysteriously locked garden that becomes her kingdom and her oasis.
The show runs through Nov. 29 but on Nov. 14, 15 and 27, Center Stage is offering a special deal on the 2 p.m. family matinees. Buy one full-price ticket and receive 50 percent off a child’s ticket.
At 1 p.m. before these shows, the theater will also offer free crafts, activities and treats. The show is recommended for children 7 and older and runs 2 hours and 20 minutes with a 15-minute intermission. No one under the age of 6 is permitted in the theater.
