Chesapeake Family is sharing favorite holiday traditions from readers. Today’s favorite tradition is from the Flores Family of Crownsville.
Seeing lights in a cozy car
Our favorite holiday tradition is Drive Thru Christmas Lights night. We start the night by giving each of our girls a new pair of snuggly jammies, which they wear for the trip. We load the car with blankets, pillows, Christmas music, cookies, popcorn and a thermos full of cocoa. We than spend the night driving around to different light displays. We always start with Lights on the Bay (our favorite). It is so much fun and we look forward to it all year long.
