Baltimore Mardi Gras Festival
Head to Power Plant Live for live performances including Cirque-style performers, fire eaters, and stilt walkers! Come hungry for the King Cake eating contest and dance throughout the district with the live music and drink packages. $12–$45. 9 p.m.–midnight. Power Plant Live, Baltimore.

Annapolis Spring Home Expo
Feb. 22-23. Meet with home improvement and enhancement companies to help you with all aspects of your house, from the driveway to the roof all in the comfort of the Expo Hall at the National Guard Armory in Annapolis. Seventh Annual Chester Gras Celebration
Hosted by Peoples Bank to raise funds for the Kent County Community Food Pantry’s Backpack nutrition program for children, the event takes place in a heated tent from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. It offers a traditional Cajun Mardi Gras party with a parade on High Street, New-Orleans-style music, a selection of Louisiana specialties prepared by local chefs, a costume contest, and a silent auction. Mindfulness Hike
