If you’ve put off visiting the National Aquarium in Baltimore and you live in Maryland, now you have all the incentive you need.
National Aquarium, Baltimore has announced the launch of Maryland Mornings, in which Maryland residents receive $8 off adult general admission tickets and $4 off child general admission tickets Sunday through Friday, before noon from now through February. The program is a partnership between the Aquarium and Governor Martin O’Malley.
“Maryland Mornings is a great way for Marylanders to get out and enjoy the sights at National Aquarium,” said Governor O’Malley. “We hope that every family will visit and take advantage of this opportunity to learn about our Bay and aquatic life, as well as share in one of our State’s great treasures.”
National Aquarium’s mission is to inspire conservation of the world’s aquatic treasures, and its home state of Maryland is a key part of this global pledge. The Aquarium has various Chesapeake Bay conservation initiatives, educational opportunities for Maryland students and accessibility programs and promotions.
“Maryland Mornings is one of the ways for us to show our appreciation to our fellow community members. National Aquarium may have a reach that spans across the country and world, but our roots are in Maryland and many of our conservation and education efforts are based here,” said John Racanelli, National Aquarium CEO. “This initiative was one of the first things on my agenda after joining the Aquarium and I’m excited to see it come to fruition.”
Tickets can be purchased on-site at the National Aquarium, Baltimore ticket office. With the discount, adult tickets will be $21.95 for adults and $16.95 for children.
