Easy Chicken Bake
"This is a yummy chicken recipe from my mom. Pretty easy to make, and also very easy to prepare in the morning, then pop in the oven when you get home from work."
6-8 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut in half
1- 8 oz. can of cream of chicken soup (mixed) or 1 jar/can of gravy
2-3 cups shredded cheese – cheddar or swiss
1/2 – 1 cup parmesan cheese
1 box stovetop
*Spices used can vary from chef to chef* use 1/4-1/2 teaspoon each. I use: Mrs. Dash original, garlic powder, Old Bay (or Cajun seasoning), Oregano, Basil (or Italian seasoning), black pepper, and onion powder. This way, the recipe is always different and delicious.
Preheat the oven to 325 F.
Mix the soup in a medium bowl, and add in 1/2 cup shredded cheese, and all spices.
Place the chicken pieces in a 13×9 baking dish and pour the soup mixture over all the chicken.
Then alternate between the stovetop and shredded cheese on top of the chicken.
Bake for 35-40 minutes. Serve over cooked rice, and broccoli is a nice complimentary side. YUM!
