You’ll seen push pops all over Pinterest, but have you made them for your family yet? They’re not just for cake and frosting — oh no! In fact, we’re going to use these reusable molds to make a fun, and dare I say it, healthy, breakfast.Your kids will go crazy when they come to the table and you hand them one of these snazzy watermelon pops. You can even take them on the go if you’re headed out the door in a hurry. The best part? No cooking! You can even make a bunch ahead of time and keep them in the fridge overnight. Be creative and change up the fruit, the yogurt, even the type of granola you use and you’ll have endless varieties to keep the kids fed and happy!
Breakfast Push Pops
- Diced and seeded watermelon chunks
- Vanilla yogurt (I prefer the thickness of Greek yogurt in these)
- Push pop molds, sold on Amazon.com and craft supply stores
Layer watermelon, yogurt and granola into molds and top with yogurt and watermelon chunks. You can also freeze push pop molds for breakfast on the go!
