AACPS Special Services
If your child attends a school in the Anne Arundel County Public Schools system, they can receive additional services and aid through the AACPS Office of Special Services. The office provides students with disabilities with assistive technology, occupational, speech and physical therapy, adaptive physical education classes and more. acps.org/page/special-services
(The) Coordinating Center
This disability support nonprofit provides Autism Waiver Service Coordination services to families whose children have autism around Maryland, recently expanding these services to schools in Queen Anne’s County in September 2025. This program provides therapy and individualized support to children and young adults with autism up to 21 years old. coordinatingcenter.org
