African-American storyteller to perform at Anne Arundel libraries

African Stories in the AmericasWNationally acclaimed African-American storyteller Baba Jamal Koran will be performing at libraries around Anne Arundel County all month long.

Don't miss this master storyteller as he brings African culture to life through music and myth in eight appearances throughout the month of February. Including drumming and call-and-response, his performances are rich with the history, humor, music and lore of the African and African-American cultures. His unique blend of old and new storytelling techniques is sure to enchant and educate audiences of all ages.
