Chesapeake Family Life, and all of its related channels, reaches over 200,000 people each month. Our market is well-defined and targeted. We are looking for motivated individuals who like to help businesses succeed in reaching the same people Chesapeake Family Life reaches.
Our mission is to connect parents with great local businesses through print publications, online advertising, e-enewsletters, social media and events. We are looking for “hunters” who will be responsible for prospecting and selling print and digital ads to small and medium size businesses. We are searching for results-driven sales professionals who can conduct marketing sales calls, have the ability to identify the business owner or decision maker, present a marketing plan and close the deal.
Traits of a successful account manager include:
• 2+ years sales experience
• High energy and results driven
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Self-starter and ability to work independently
• Resilience and an ability to overcome objections
• Computer proficient and comfortable using cloud-based programs for reporting and customer management
You will also be required to attend weekly staff meetings, training in Annapolis and report on daily progress.
