On Saturday, Sept. 26, West Street in downtown Annapolis will transform into an entertainment venue for the fifth annual Fringe Festival. This alternative arts and entertainment festival will feature live musicians as well as acrobats, actors, dancers, magicians, rappers, and poets. Adult-oriented shows will last from 7 p.m. to midnight.
The festival will kick off with the national anthem and a High Heel race which will be monitored by the Charm City Roller Girls. After the opening ceremonies finish, festival goers can enjoy performances from Church Circle down to the first block of West Street, known as Gallery Row. Shows will be held outside on West Street, in the venue tent, on the street stage and inside local businesses. Most shows will be approximately half an hour long.

• Shannon Sterner – Body painting performance
• Fast As Lightning – Youth rock band (pictured)
• Joseph Webb and Friends – Dancers
• John Jensen – Interactive sculpting performance
• Tweety and Company – Drag queens
• Django Reinhardt & Gypsy Jazz – Jazz and swing band
A bracelet is required to see any ticketed shows at the Festival. Most performances will require a ticket. All-Access Tickets and VIP Tickets are available for purchase online. There is no service charge for tickets bought online.
Bracelet: A Fringe bracelet costs $5, and includes discounts on food, drinks, performances, and some show tickets. Bracelets can be bought at any of the three box offices that will be set up alongside the barricades at either end of West Street.
Single Ticket Options: A single ticket to any live performance should cost no more than $11. Tickets can be bought at the box offices. Not all performances will require a ticket.
Package Ticket Options: An All-Access Ticket allows access to any show for free (until the capacity is full). A VIP Ticket includes discounts on food, drinks, and performances, entrance to three ticketed shows of your choice, reserved hi-top seating for two at these three shows, and two invitations to the Fringe Festival after-party.
