The lottery is now open for tickets to the 2018 White House Easter Egg Roll.
The White House Easter Egg Roll, a tradition since 1878, is scheduled for April 2, 2018 at The White House, 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Washington, DC.
Tickets are distributed for free via an online lottery system. This year’s lottery will begin Friday Feb. 9 and continue through Thursday, February 15 at noon. To enter the lottery visit the White House Easter Egg Roll website.
Lottery results will be available on March 5. Email notifications from Recreation.gov will be sent to the lottery winners with instructions for obtaining tickets.
Musical artists will perform on the South Lawn stage throughout the day. The 2018 Easter Egg Roll talent lineup has not been announced yet. Past Easter Egg Rolls have featured live music, storytelling, sports and fitness zones, cooking demonstrations, and the traditional egg roll and egg hunt. Check the website for an upated 2018 activity list which will be posted as it becomes available.
