Take a bit of time out of your summer to do a little family community service this weekend.
Bring the whole family to help assemble bagged lunches for the guests at The Lighthouse Shelter in Annapolis Saturday, July 25. The “Stone Soup” event is sponsored by The United Way of Central Maryland and will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the shelter, 10 Hudson St.
Kids of all ages can join the fun. Families participating are asked to bring some items from the grocery list. When you register, you will get an email indicating which ingredients your family should provide.
