Bring your little sprites to the Fairy and Gnome Home Festival at Annmarie Sculpture Garden April 27.
The festival coincides with Fairies in the Garden, an exhibit of more than 50 handmade fairy and gnome homes nestled throughout the garden. Have fun touring the exhibit, then make your own fairy or gnome home. Kids can also experience the Fairy Lolly children’s play area, where they can climb, explore and build with a variety of creative toys and props.
New this year, kids can play Gnome Games— feed the Trach Dragon, visit the Fairy Fishing Hole and dig for treasure in the Troll’s Treasure Trough. Kids can meet Fairy Queen Ambrosia and Princess Cricket and there will also be face painting, bubbles and chalk fun.
Refreshments will be available as well as live entertainment.
The festival is held from noon-4 p.m. at Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Arts Center in Solomons. Admission is $5. Members and children 2 and under enter free. For details visit Annmarie Sculpture Garden website.
