From Fall festivals to Thanksgiving Turkey Trots, virtual galas and fall artisans markets, this November holds plenty of fun for the whole family!

Fall Fun Festival

Maryland Sunrise Farm

Mommy and Me Yoga

Try it! STEAM Lab
Mondays and Thursdays through November 19. Try It! Classes at CAC are designed to expose students to all facets of the arts without any commitment! Students ages 7-12 can try dance, ceramics, visual art and more, one week at a time. Each workshop is only $10. Students must pre-register. Classes open approximately 4 weeks in advance. Nature Escape
Wednesdays. Turn off your computers and escape to the parks every week, as park rangers come together to create a weekly screen-free outdoor learning and free play experience. Each week children will explore a different theme in nature from Animal Homes and Water Worlds, to Geology and Mindfulness in Nature while parents and guardians can escape themselves for a midday break! Pumpkin Smash
Send your pumpkin flying off the roof of the Maryland Science Center! The pumpkin launch tube is ready to propel your gourd down four stories from MSC’s roof to the patio below! This program is designed to invite adults and children 18 months to 3 years to discover the museum together through music, stories, and special activities. Civics 101 for Girls

Friday Nights Under the Dome: Astronauts
Enjoy unique shows at the Robinson Nature Center’s planetarium. Each program features a full-dome movie preceded by a live, family-friendly planetarium presentation where you discover what’s in the night sky that month. Virtual Murder MysteryWizard of Oz

CASAblanca—Together We Rise
This year’s CASAblanca Gala will be held online, featuring special  programming around the theme for this year’s event. Attendees are encouraged to throw their own watch-party, dress up in their glitzy finest, or perhaps throw a pajama party! Guests can get creative on how they will decorate for our photo contest, while they join us on YouTube Live and “mingle” via the interactive chat bar. 6:30–8 p.m. aacasa.org

Make Your Own Rocks Glass
Join Sagamore Spirit and the crew at McFadden Art Glass, who will teach you the process of making your very own rocks glass by glassblowing. Then, enjoy a guided tasting of various Sagamore Spirit expressions. Each guest will make one rocks glass. Glasses take a full day to dry and require pick-up from the distillery. Sensory-Friendly Sunday
This monthly event is designed for families with kids, teens, and adults with sensory processing differences, autism spectrum disorder, or developmental disabilities. The center opens early, allowing visitors to enjoy a calm environment. Sensory alert maps, sensory backpacks and quiet areas are available.
