MPAA Rating: PG-13       Length: 105 minutes

Age Appropriate For: 13+. Some cursing, but it’s a moment-of-passion thing. Otherwise, the film is a really important must-see, not only because of its definitive documentation of the impact of global warming but for how beautiful and devastating it is. It’s the kind of movie that will certainly spark an interest in science and the environment.

Documentary ‘Chasing Ice’ is haunting in its display of global warming’s very real, very devastating impact on the world’s glaciers. It’s a sobering, needed film.

By Roxana Hadadi

The documentary “Chasing Ice” is very clear in its purpose: proving that global warming is quite real, quite terrible, and quite irreversible. And man, is it affecting. I was shocked into silence. Extremely depressed silence.
