Kernel Rating (out of 5):
MPAA Rating: PG-13 Length: 94 minutes
Age appropriate for: 15+. Cursing, drug references, implied sexual situations (but no real nudity), and the violence and terror associated with being kidnapped. Not a thriller for super-young teens.
‘”Gone” gives Amanda Seyfried a gun and has her chase around bad guys. The result, unsurprisingly, is neither thrilling nor empowering.
