Family Movie Review: Justin Bieber’s Believe (PG)

JustinBiebersBelieve ChesapeakeFamilyMovieReviewKernel Rating (out of 5): half-popcorn-kernal

MPAA Rating: PG        Length: 92 minutes

Age Appropriate For: 8+. If you let your child listen to Justin Bieber’s music, then they can see this “documentary,” which is really just a mixture of concert footage, Bieber talking about how shocked he is that he’s famous (ugh), and other famous people talking about how famous Bieber is. Because of the performances, you’ll hear some of his somewhat suggestive song lyrics, some kissing, and some infrequent cursing.

If you happen to think Justin Bieber is the worst, then you’ll think ‘Justin Bieber’s Believe’ is the worst, too. For fans, this commercial for the singer might be enjoyable, but it feels slimmer in story than his first documentary, ‘Never Say Never.’ If you want to pay to watch a 90-minute music video, though, ‘Believe’ is for you.

Isn’t it terrible that we live in a world where Justin Bieber has not one, but now two documentaries about his life? I mean, honestly? Why.
